given what you have done, the most logical thing to check is the POWER button connection.

any of the diagnostic LED's on? (lower right hand corner above front panel pin connector)

Thanks for the help, but i just checked the PSU voltages with a multimeter and its dead, no standby power, no main cpu power, only 2.3w on (PS_ON) meaning that the logic thinks its ok, but its not 😞

Hello, i just installed 2 new intake fans, and when i try to turn in on, only the ram lights up. My first thought, that my motherboard could be fried, because i maybe shorted other wires. Any help would be appreciated 🙂 (i tried basic troubleshooting, like checking the that right cables go where they are suposed to)

Do the fans spin? Is there any software for the fan color?

No, they dont, they are basic non rgb Artic P12 fans, no need for software

So, wait, they don't spin?

Have you tried unplugging them to see if the pc comes back on?

Also, reseat all of the cables, you may have just knocked them loose (possibly the front panel connectors)

Maybe a motherboard issue?

Does it boot without the new fans connected?

what is the specific motherboard brand and model?

I just started a thread about Gigabyte RGB software bricking boards.

Does not boot at all, even with the old fans connected, the motherboard is Aorus B450M

Given that this is a DDR4 machine, it's unlikely to be a 6/700 series chipset, though that's hard to spot

Hello i was pluging in some new fans and when i wanted to turn it on, it didnt boot and no fans were spining, i just did the breadboard test, but still the same problem just the ram lights ups, but no boot or fan spining, i think it could be a shorted or bad motherboard or cpu (no motherboard troubleshooting leds either, the motherboard is aorus b450m)

memory in the wrong slots at a guess should be as your picture orientated from the cpu left to right missing, 1 ram, missing, 1 ram.

It shouldnt stop it booting but still worth a go

"Roses are red, violets are blue, please put your RAM in slots 4 and 2"
