Help: CPU and GPU low usage

Hey guys, I just set up my pc and booted up doom dark ages and everything is running okay at max settings but my gpu usage and cpu usage were like 60-70% and 3% respectively. I was getting around 60-70 fps with but I’m a little concerned the usages were so low. I also loaded up Minecraft with the new vibrant visuals and it looks like I couldn’t get any higher than 120fps with near identical usage percentages. I get crazy high fps in the menus of both games as expected, I’ve disabled vsync, enabled expo, enabled resizable bar, changed my power settings, updated my bios, removed any frame caps updated gpu drivers. What am I missing here.

 

my specs are:

 

ryzen 9 9950x3d

rtx 5090 astral oc

g.skill 2x24 8000 

T705 2tb

ROG x870e-e mobo

EXPO might be a problem at 8000 as you are not running in 1:1 with the infinity fabric, this is why we always recommend 6000Mhz CL30.

The 9950X3D might also need some adjustments or core parking depending on your OS so that you are running on the X3D cores.

The ram was running at 4000mhz per stick which I believe is correct for 8000mt/s

otherwise what do you recommend for managing core parking?

Thats not how it works.  DDR stands for Double Data Rate so its true you might be seeing 4000Mhz but each stick would be running at 8000Mhz.

This is out of 1:1 unless you do some manual tweaking.

What do you recommend I do to get the best performance out of my ram then?

I'm so sorry that I didn't reply.  Been a busy and overwhelming day.

For your CPU the best RAM speed is 6000Mhz.

I also know that 6200Mhz will run in 1:1 in most Ryzen 9000.
