BIOS was already up to date. Checked Gigabyte's site and there isn't any new updates. I've checked temps and volts while idle and gaming, but nothing out of the ordinary or unusual spikes occurred.

I'd suggest familiarise yourself with that thread ^^. Hopefully all will be well and Intel have finally fully addressed the issue with their latest update.

It's been awhile since I've had an intel build. I came into hands with a 13700k and got a z790 motherboard. Is there anything that I need to know about the platform? I know 13th and 14th gen CPUs were having issues with voltage, is it still something to worry about? I haven't ran intel since the 6700k. 😀

Not really. Just make sure your motherboard's BIOS is updated and it should be fine.

I sold my soul for ProSupport.

I don't think there's any concerns known about Intel's newest generation of CPUs.

They're not the fastest for gaming (by a significant margin), but you're presumably already aware of that.

If those are used, the CPU might already be damaged from said voltage issues. Good luck.

If they're new, a BIOS update should be your first priority.
