Hi guys I had a PSU issue last Friday on my PC my PSU started blowing white smoke out the back of the PSU I quickly went into action and turned it off and unplugged the PSU. The PSU was a Corsair CX600M it was in my brother's old PC build he had put in mine from 2020. The PSU was inside his build from 2015. So the PSU is 11 years old. My dad got me a power supply from an indoor flea market and we put it in and I powered my PC up with it after connecting everything booted up fine then I put the system under load then not even a minute into a mission I was in (in ready or not) my display went blank. Shut down the PC and tried turning it on again and I got lights from my PC inside the case but no response from monitor or no boot sequence. Tried turning my PSU off from switch held power button down to drain power from PSU and still no change. Here's a picture of that power supply my dad had gotten me to see if my PC components were ok After the cx600m died.
