Hello LinusTechTips forum users :)
This is my first "big question" post here so please bare with me while i try to explain my situation.

First off, im from germany so i do not think that everything will be grammatically right.

I searched and asked around like i never did before and i haven't found anything similar to my problem yet.

Lets get to the problem for now,

I was updating my System with some all new components because my update schedule told me to :)
I grabbed myself some very very budget oriented parts, a MSI A88X-G43, a AMD Athlon II X4 760K and a GTX 750 Ti Windforce 2X.

In addition to that i ordered new storage devices, i grabbed myself a SanDisk ReadyCache 32GB SSD for System only use and a WD Blue 1TB hdd for mass storage.

The Motherboard and CPU arrived today and i went ahead and built my system together, everything fine so far.

I fired up my system and went into the bios to check if everything has been registered and so on.

Everything registered, everything fine.

Now i booted it up into my existing windows on my SSD to see if it works and to reinstall my windows over my OS and not the bootloader stuff.

I stayed about ten seconds on my desktop and my system just force restarted itself. I didnt expect something bad, just some random issues because it was the first startup so i restarted again, and the problem was still existing. After a few tries i went ahead and threw in my bootdrive with windows 8 on it, not thinking about anything (because well, i am pretty much a complete noob with software stuff in general at the moment) and i formatted my SSD and tried to install windows 8 onto it. I did not change anything in the BIOS Settings and i didnt enable anything either, i just did it the way i wrote so far.

After the setup said "Copying Windows Files 100%" it went about 4-5% into the next step and my system just restarted itself and showed me the setup start screen again.
I told that some friends and some said "you need to change the SATA controller to IDE" and the others said "you need it in AHCI to run everything" and so on and im just totally confused.
My Motherboard is UEFI ready as some of you may or may not know, thats nothing special though but still.

I really hope someone knows a way out of this for me, i have no idea what i should do and i don't wanna test around on my own too much, i don't wanna damage my PC more or again.

Thanks very much in advance and most important, thanks for reading all this and if you do, thanks for taking time to help me!!!

Have you considered the fact that it could be unrelated to the ssd? Maybe your heatsink is defective and the cpu is overheating. To see if it is the ssd or not you should try running a linux os off of its dvd or from a pendrive. If the system works fine with that, it's the ssd, if it reboots again, it's something else. As it stands the cause could be almost anything and if you're not willing to do too much testing I am afraid there is not much you can do. If the ssd is not the issue I recommend bringing the pc to a specialist.

If it is the issue, try swapping sata connector, it might be defective. Don't listen to those who tell you to change it to ide, my own ssd has been running for 2 years on ahci and I never had any issue whatsoever. If the new connector doesn't solve the problem, the ssd might be broken and you whould bring it to a specialist to see if it can be revived.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

sudo chmod -R 000 /*

Its not the CPU i can tell that much so far, it could be the cable though i haven't tested that out i was thinking its only Software wise, and well , the SSD ran the system stable for a few Weeks already before the Motherboard and CPU changed.

And by testing i meant something like changing BIOS settings around for example, Hardware wise im pretty concerned about my knowledge, but not with software anymore. I dont wanna Brick something because of random sets of bios settings that i made up from scratch. Another example would be i never had to deal with uefi settings or so because my last built was about 2 and a half Years ago. And i think with win 8 and the way i created the bootdrive, plus my New mobo capabilities im pretty sure i became "outdated" a bit over the last years with my knowledge
