hi, i want to know if there are a way to recover encripted files with the .WSUU ransomware, if i buy the bitdefender total security will i be able to recover my files?

Be careful with trying random solutions you found on the internet. It's not uncommon for criminals to target victims a second time. If your data is important, be sure to make a copy of it before working on it. If your data is something you can stand to lose, you may consider a fresh install and moving on. Either way, make sure you work from a know clean and uninfected system, so you don't carry the infection forward to cause more problems, and make sure to not get reinfected by the initial source of infection. I'd recommend reinstalling a fresh and clean copy of the OS on the infected computer, and not depend on a scanner to clean the infection, before taking it back into regular service. No information provided by the infected system, or any software running on, is to be trusted.

That being said, Bitdefender is a well known and respected name. Is there any reason to believe their product can decrypt these files? I don't really see this advertised as something that product can do, but maybe you found more specific information.

Alternatively, you could try the website of the No More Ransom project: https://www.nomoreransom.org/en/index.html . It's a project where Europol and various antivirus software makers cooperate to help victims decrypt their files. When law enforcement infiltrates malware networks, takes them offline, or catches the criminals involved, they regularly discover how to decrypt victim's files, and add it to the website.

If the website cannot help now, but the files are important, consider buying a new hard drive for your system and storing the infected drive. A method to decrypt your files may be added in the future.

The time to protect against ransomware is before you get it.  Just format/re-install hopefully you have backups.
