Those temperatures seem within expected tolerances for that much wattage usage. Repasting is really only necessary when the old paste has worn out. Repasting won't magically lower your temperatures from the factory.

Very minimal reduction since it was already running perfectly fine.

 

Repasting isn't magic.

The hotspot is usually between 5 and 15 degrees C over the GPU temperature
