So after watching this video I was shocked to see that after Linus plugs his PC into what looks like to be an active ups/power station his computer stability was much better especially when overclocked. Wondering what unit he is using in the video but also if things like power conditioners/power filters etc can help without buying a UPS.

Thanks

If your area is prone to brownouts, then power conditioners/AVR devices would help keep your system stable during a brownout. In more established/stable areas, it's not as necessary, and a simple surge protector could do as a solid and cheaper baseline of protection. If you want overkill, then a good UPS with surge protection and AVR would be the best of all worlds.
