I use openoffice for excel and word.  I downloaded it a while back.  I use axcrypt to encrypt lot of documents.  Every single time I open a specific openoffice excel document, it always shows a message of Openoffice Document Recovery and click on start recovery to start the recovery of the document.  I then click on start recovery and the file would then up.  Is there a way to prevent this message from showing up every single time?  Is this document corrupted which is why it does this every single time?

 

 

I went to add/remove programs and it seems I'm using openoffice 4.1.13.  I recall installing it a while back using the ninite app when I got my laptop a long time ago.   I use windows 11 pro.

 

 

Do I go to the website and then update it or the newest open office?  Will it stop this issue?  I just find it annoying that it doesn't open the file normally and always has this message.
