Yeah my budget only allows for either a 5060ti 16gb or the 5070 12gb so looking like the 5060ti 16gb

Mainly 1080 but getting more 4k requests nowadays. 
mobo: MSI x870e 
CPU: 9800x3D with noctua air cooler 

64 GB DDR5

4 tb wd black m.2 ssd

1tb crucial m.2 ssd for adobe cache files etc.

Do you have those parts already or are you planning a new build? 

 

I'd typically get the non x3d chip for editing, and get more cores if you can. Thinks like a cheaper cooler and board would likely not make a performance difference if your budget limited.

 

If your mostly 1080p and some 4k and not pushing effects hard the 5060ti should be fine.

Yep already got the parts and system built. Micro center messed up and gave me a x3d vs non 3d lol, didn’t notice it til I got back home 2 hours and was like welp lol

Its about the same than the non x3d in most editing tasks, so its not really hurting you. 

 

Otherwise 5060ti seems fine if you have the budget.
