Not exactly sure which section this goes under, but this seems like the most likely place.

I'm searching for a chair for my computer desk with very specific requirements:

1) I want to be able to use it as a reading chair. Imagine a reclining single-seater sofa (eg: https://www.google.com/shopping/product/14204372554147060694), but less bulky.

2) The seat needs to be high enough to reach a standard sized desk. About 20-22" should be ideal. Height adjustable would be perfect.

My current chair is about 18" high, and that's the highest possible. Not the ideal  height for my keyboard, but that's because the keyboard tray is broken (which would have been the right height). I plan on building my own desk soon, so I could easily build my desk to accommodate any chair - but it would be nice if I could build a standard height executive-style desk which fits a standard-ish sized chair.

I've narrowed it down to this one: https://www.google.com/shopping/product/1335815308855578698 The maximum height is about 19" with the pedestal, but I'm worried it would be too low for my current desk, which is roughly the same dimensions as my planned desk. It's also not height adjustable, which is a bummer.

Alternative possibility: https://www.google.com/shopping/product/8542574943627358642

If anyone has any input, I'd be happy to consider. It's entirely possible I'm not looking in the right places. If anyone owns the X Rocker chair, how well does it work for a computer desk?

Budget: around $300, up to $500 if it's good.

Right, budget. I'd say $200-300 tops. Willing to increase if it's a really good chair worth the price.

The DXRacer chairs are pretty sweet looking too.
