Hey - need some help please.

Ive just spent some money on a mid-tier components (poor father of 3 here).

I have bought this board - https://www.asus.com/uk/motherboards-components/motherboards/tuf-gaming/tuf-gaming-b550m-plus-wifi-ii/

I want a new case - and saw this - https://www.amazon.co.uk/FOIFKIN-M1-Case-Pre-Installed-Mid-Tower/dp/B0DXQG3MDK/ref=sr_1_2_sspa?crid=ILSTG6CO8IIZ&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.GLL74bSyWIzkGsT4pFthMDYbP1KJC_ynpOvE9N2M6XdObTOZhVCLdlE8BQZP6fA-nIj97Lo3tdXxEtDRin34HptqpEksYuicZbXPEHZVqZEHmJ5uN3jbeg1njFhtyZIQRZk0V2P74Upvdtow1hk3wwz-_PTJdMpXw4MtDRzO7_5r2EWjWkAfSHeeRlXiByg-tzu7JEYpPY8CzCIgoxIJrYZClS-6T43YRKUPjy6Kmkk.iab0GY2HU4ZKpGkMdJfYtUQyW4PUhOsHUi2o53mF7u0&dib_tag=se&keywords=M1+PC+Case+-+Wood+Walnut+front&qid=1746087198&sprefix=m1+pc+case+-+wood+walnut+front%2Caps%2C71&sr=8-2-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9hdGY&psc=1

This fits my budget, and honestly does what it needs, however!

Im not sure if the fans in this case will work with the board? I always struggle to understand ARGB etc. And these seem to be called Aura RGB?

I just need to know if these fans will just work if I plug them in, not arsed about RGB to be honest, as long as they spin lol.

With it only have 2 headers, and 4 fans on the case - is there anything I can buy, like a hub to power them, make them work if not?

Rob.

The fans will be daisy chained so you're fine ^^

Looks like  a Fractal North clone/ripoff

I'd be wary of noname cheap boards, rather go for a reputable brand budget case, with good reviews, like Montech, Phanteks, Lian Li, Deepcool, Antec

Not even really more expensive :

https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/products/compare/QnD7YJ,KKytt6,2MwmP6,77vD4D/

Anyway any case fans will work with any board, cheap fans may be Molex powered, directly to the PSU

AMD R9  7950X3D CPU/ Asus ROG STRIX X670E-E board/ 2x32GB G-Skill Trident Z Neo 6000CL30 RAM ASUS TUF Gaming AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX OC Edition GPU/ Phanteks P600S case /  Arctic Liquid Freezer III 360 ARGB cooler/  2TB WD SN850 NVme + 2TB Crucial T500  NVme  + 4TB Toshiba X300 HDD / Corsair RM850x PSU/ Alienware AW3420DW 34" 120Hz 3440x1440p monitor / ASUS ROG AZOTH keyboard/ Logitech G PRO X Superlight mouse / Audeze Maxwell headphones

Hi buddy,

PC RGB can be a but of a pain in the arse but in my experience it comes down to NOT wanting to have a million different RGB software control utilities on your PC at once.

From the looks of things, your Mobo has 2 x 12v 4 Pin RGB headers and 1 x 3 pin 5v aRGB header.

Ignore the 4 pin headers as you will likely not use them as the bulk of RGB fans, cases, water blocks and so forth use the 3 pin standard now. If I'm being honest, I'm not sure what uses the 4 pin standard and nothing in my ridiculous selection of flishy flashy PCs uses them. I am assuming the case fans are indeed 3pin 5v.

With regards to how many you can plumb in on a single header, that comes down to how many amps all the devices use. I think 3A is what a single header can handle.

If you want a splitter (powered or unpowered) I have used the following without any issues:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Argb-CTRICALVER-Ports-ARGB-Splitter/dp/B099DJM2GQ/ref=asc_df_B099DJM2GQ?mcid=d2920dbfeeeb351fbd1f9d8fdb6c8c32&tag=googshopuk-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=710715439671&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=9028011726829597366&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9046885&hvtargid=pla-1423628154854&psc=1&gad_source=1

https://www.amazon.co.uk/QTMMC-ARGB-Splitter-Cable-Addressable/dp/B0DP7J3WS7/ref=sr_1_6?crid=1ILKRKBIPM8BE&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.dHBTVtwVYnfwyV7jmCIffgCZDpqk6PlMgUUSZZmAO7VzmYU6nfOINqhVU6PPrwxxcwFeBdfKyqOx8YaoxoLIpiCXgJOZxhKqL73YHgCDevifBHqThl-8HKuACzslmIFdHCZks-29x9ZHktvbDdO6VjflVtrGkdcidUceQO35lNN5rjZD2r2tmLiDG9X0MlmcxjGdNsNab6KLidw0Xfltb0VKVbvsGIL7dDVb0JICT6A.x7oys7pAHa2vnno3gfKi_LPBLvJUu2IHtk54gdc4W7g&dib_tag=se&keywords=rgb+splitter+3+pin+5+way&qid=1746095464&sprefix=rgb+splitter+3+pin+5+way%2Caps%2C93&sr=8-6

As @Why_Me suggested, if the case fans are daisy-cahainable for both PWM and RGB you might not need a big splitter, but with only a single 3pin aRGB header on the board, its not a bad addition to make sure everything lights up as it should.

With regards to the RGB control software, my advice is to try and limit it to 1. While Corsair, Lian-Li and almost every other company will try and railroad you into installing their software to control their rgb hardware, your Mobo's control software is usually the best option and normally manages to detect and control everything including RAM.
