I'm just wondering why I rarely see anything about this brand. Even when I'm looking at my inventory, it's one of the least likely to be displayed for ARGB compatibility.

Thanks!

I've been using computers since around 1978, started learning programming in 1980 on Apple IIs, started learning about hardware in 1990, ran a BBS from 1990-95, built my first Windows PC around 2000, taught myself malware removal starting in 2005 (also learned on Bleeping Computer), learned web dev starting in 2017, and I think I can fill a thimble with all that knowledge. 馃槈 I'm not an expert, which is why I keep investigating the answers that others give to try and improve my knowledge, so feel free to double-check the advice I give.

Yeah, biostar isn鈥檛 very popular. Haven鈥檛 even heard this name since 2020.

The LTT community is pretty great. Don鈥檛 make it not great, don鈥檛 be dumb.聽

They don't make motherboards, for example, for the mainstream DIY builder.聽 They're more of a mass producer for system builders like Dell, HP, etc.

This last time I saw one in of some semi mainstream proper board was their z97 thing.

I know they make modern boards as i did see a z690 valkyrie( I think thats thr name) online at one point and a wacky am5 board that looked cool. But no way to buy that cept in china.

Yeah, I see that now.

It's a copy and paste image of their site, so they must have a setting or something.聽 Always works when I right click any other pic.

The first link brings you to the board, and a good pic of their lackluster vrm, etc

He's running a 5700x on it with a 9070xt now.聽 Good enough for that CPU I guess.

Biostar supposedly HAVE motherboards for the current sockets (e.g. X870E, Z890); however, they don't perform very well.
