Hello,
I have a NEC-QLogic PCIE NIC in my Nas that just wont show up in the online GUI or anything. I know the system recognizes it (it showed up in pcie devices and worked in windows 10 and 11). I'm not sure if I need to install drivers for it or something.
Nothing is plugged into the NIC, I'm currently only using the onboard ethernet.
This is the network card I am using:
QLogic QLE4062C-CK PCI Express x4 2.50 GHz iSCSI Host Bus Adapter - Newegg.com
I am on truenas CORE (my NAS motherboard & CPU don't run scale at all.)
This is the motherboard I am using:
Coinmine ITX Motherboard with AMD A8-4555M and Radeon HD 7600G Desktop Computer | eBay

any help would be greatly appreciated.

TrueNAS - 192.168.10.193 and 4 more pages - Personal - Microsoft Edge 4_25_2025 5_31_01 PM.png
EDIT:
I managed to get it to migrate to TrueNAS scale 24.04; there are drivers there.

Means it's most likely not supported in BSD. If you can find drivers for it, you can install them manually. I briefly ran a RealTek chipset NIC, and had to install a driver to make it work, until I just picked up a Intel NIC so everything would work correctly (like WOL).
