I'm going on a few trips soon, and need a nice pair of in-ear headphones to fill my audio needs. I have narrowed it down to three so far: Shure SE215's, Shure SE315's, and Sennheiser IE80's. The only thing making this difficult for me is the price differences. Will I notice a significant difference between the different pricepoints?

(I should also add that I will be using these a loooot, so comfort and durability is a slight factor)

What do you guys recommend?

Thanks!!

Will you notice the difference or not, or is the difference worth the money or not, is entirely up to you, to be exact, your ears. Kind of hard to say.

For example, my brother compared sounds from Iphone 4's analog out vs Iphone 4 + LOD + ALO International amp ($700+ amp), and he couldn't hear a difference other than it being louder. So to him, of course the $700+ amp is not worth it at all...

1 other analogy: It's like asking, 'I know Burger King's burger is better than those at street's burger & hotdog stands, but is the Burger King's worth the price difference?' Kinda hard to answer :)

Best thing is to find a store that have those demo units to try them on, and decide for yourself. If you can't, then just go with the max of your budget. Trust me, if you go for the second max, without actually comparing them, you'll enjoy the IEM, but at the same time you'll be forever curious, 'should have gone with the max budget'....
