The same or similar panel from LG Display is used in the Spectrum One, yes. That's about where the similarities end. Entirely different electronics, case, stand and coating.

I am wanting to get a rtngs review, they are easy to ynderstand with the # sys. odd 2 of them have a contrast # of 6.3 & one 6.1.

IPS LCD's, contrast will never be great.

Unit to unit variance plays a role here. But anyway, both 800:1 (typical LG IPS contrast) and 1000:1 (typical "general" IPS contrast) are equally bad in my book. I can't really see a difference between the two. If you prefer good contrast, you need VA or OLED.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.
