Hello!

Thank you for looking at my first post. I want to preifce the post by saying I am very new to PC building. I am in the united States with a budget of around $1000.

My current gaming PC is starting to fall behind in performance for the games I want to play. I play of mix of games, from shooters like marvel rivals, to rpgs like BG3 and skyrim(modded). I bought my pc ~2021, it's a pre built by cyberpowerpc. At that time I had no experience in pc gaming and was very satisfied with my purchase. The unit ran all the games I wanted to play with no issues. But now it just doesn't meet my demands. I also need larger (fast) storage capacity. Should I upgrade a component like GPU and get a larger m.2 drive. Or look into system replacement?

Current specs that I know of:

CPU AMD ryzen 5 3600 6 core 12 THREAD 3.6 ghz

RAM : Corsair vengeance 32 gb ram ddr4
(4 sticks)

I installed this myself after purchasing the pc.

GPU : AMD radeon RX 5600 xt
6128 mb memory
GDDR6
PCI EXPRESS 4.0 X 16

MOBO : Gigabyte B550M DS3H AC

500 gb m.2

1tb HDD

I play at 1080 p, and I'm fine sticking with that for now. I know the mobo only has 1 slot for an m.2 drive, so I will need to replace my current one to upgrade. I have tried to find the case, but it seems that it's a proprietary one from cyberpower on just their pre builds. Here is a link to my pc on ebay if that helps anyone.

You could upgrade your cpu to like a 5700x and then upgrade your gpu and get some more storage.

Your current case looks to be a hotbox as in restrictive airflow in the front.
