RX 9070XT Died

Go to solution Solved by Tan3l6,

Perhaps run AMD GPU driver removal from DDU. Though seems little chance.

Gpu suddenly doesn't show up in task manager nor amd software, driver reinstalled but nothing changed. Hdmi output only works and that's due to the igpu, no dp at all. Is the gpu dead or am I dumb. Idk what to do

start by reseating the gpu then if it still doesn't work try to get it replaced through warranty.

Not dumb
Something has gone terribly wrong
Reseat everything
DDU and reinstall drivers
If it's still borked, RMA

It totally was the driver. It popped up again

Yay!
Now, just to be sure, do DISM and SFC scans to double check there is no other software funkiness plus a good 10 min run of furmark to make sure the thing is actually back for good

Did you check Device Manager for if its just detected but without a driver? It would show up as unrecognized or with a Basic Display Driver.

Ye, driver issue. It shouldn't happen, but it does, where the driver just breaks. I've seen this happen a few times, not unique to AMD. Good indication that its software and not hardware is if the device is still displaying and recognized in Device Manager.
