Old iPhones broken

My mum had some iPhones lying around, and I wanted to see them. Out of all the iPhones, two are broken, and my mum said that these two were the most important to her. Why? Because she had photos and other personal stuff on them. 

The iPhones - 

iPod 6 Touch - It randomly stopped charging

iPhone 6 Plus - Sent once at the repair shop, and they broke the motherboard (they didn't give back our money because of policy or smh)

You can tell me what to buy and what I should do.

a broken motherboard's gonna be hard to fix.  you'd have to send that in for chip swapping if you actually want to get that recovered.  May or may not be worth the price.

For the one that stopped charging, if all you need is to copy photos off of it one time, then you could swap in an already charged battery from another phone.

Uhhh.... I don't have a spare battery, nor the same iPod. Could you recommend me a site where I could buy one?

Not really, I have no idea where you live. For me I would go on eBay or Facebook Marketplace or similar sites and look for a busted phone that still turns on.
