I have recently been given 2 dell optiplex 7050s, one of which is a small form factor one and the other which is a mini tower I believe. I want to turn the larger one into a home server. It already has 8 or 16GB of RAM, I'll be able to check on monday, and I am planning on putting in a Western Digital Caviar Blue 500 GB 3'5 to go with the 256GB M.2 inside it (again, not actually sure if it's 256GB, I'll have to check on Monday). I will be using a cat6 ethernet cable. I want to use it for hosting a Plex server, storing files, hosting a Minecraft server, and maybe a bit of virtual machines. In the future, I plan to add a TEAMGROUP MP33 PRO 512 GB M.2 and a Western Digital RE4 1 TB 3'5 for more storage, as well as swapping the RAM for a Crucial CT2K16G4DFRA32A 32 GB (16GB x 2) and replacing the stock cooler with a ENDORFY Spartan 5. Is this good enough for what I want to do?
