So in my Bitfenix prodigy case I have 4 fans attached to a NZXT Sentry 2 fan controller and I know its a cheap item but this isnt the problem.

I have a 140mm fan in the rear of the case and its attached to a 4to3 pin cable so that I could plug it into my fan controller but the only problem is that I have is the fan now makes a low but annoying noise such as a (buzzzz) or (brrrr) and this never happened before when I connected the fan straight to the PSU and the fan controller works fine too.

Any help on what and why it might be doing this?

It's probably the fan that has issues running at low RPM

You can replace the fan, or run it a bit faster
