So I'm looking at these 2 laptops from Chuwi (I think Linus did a video on them a while back), and there are 2 options that I like. they are the same model, only difference is that one has an Celeron(???) n100 400$ and one has a 12450h 600$. want to know if it is worth the 200$ difference. (price is CAD)

Also the performance difference is 2-3x between the n100 and i5. Sure it may not matter too much right now but IT WILL in the future. I have a n100 mini pc and it's alright for browsing the web and such but you can easily start pushing it.

Whats the usecase? What are the other specs?

May simply make more sense to get a used bussiness device than these as well chuwi devices are low quality as cheaply made as possible computers to be able to hit their target pirces. Main points that were skipped on is the display, speaker, battery, trackpad and keyboard. All of these are bad-ok at best. Cooling is surprisingly not terrible so that is a bonus.

If it is the only 2 options the i5 by far the n100 is the pentium replacement and those very low power low performance chips always age incredibly fast.

That i5 is going to be a lot better and usable than the n100. So it is totally worth it.

But as jaslion said above, you could go for a refurbished device. The device you are trying to by might have an option for a good i5 (that too H series), but that's just to cover for the specs, and the rest of the quality would be cheap. By going second hand / refurbished, you do save a lot for the rest of the quality.

PLEASE MARK COMMENTS AS SOLUTION IF SATISFIED!!

bigger number better, makes me look cooler.
