Csgo acc banned?

Hi guys
my friend played csgo and now got a vac bann or something
It say Vac banned on his profile and on the top, but when he trys to start a match it says: "You are temporarily banned from the servers."
is that a vac ban or what?

idk i tried to contact steam but they just copy paste 1 text that doesnt answer anything. and u also cant conect vac so idk man.

IF it says you have a VAC ban on a Valve game, your account used hacks/cheats. It will not be unbanned under any circumstances.

You didn't try modding frame gen or something did you? Have to be careful with that stuff in online games.
