Upgrades

Go to solution Solved by venomtail,

A used RX7600. Give take $150-200.

I have an RX 6500 XT 8GB, ryzen 5 8500G, and 16GB of RAM as well as a 650W PSU. I am looking for a GPU to upgrade to that is in the $100-$200 range, I want it to be a noticable jump in preformance without needing to upgrade anything else in my build. I would prefer AMD, as they have a better price-to-preformance ratio. Intel would also be OK, but that would be a bit of a stretch. Preferrably with a bit of RGB as well.

I AM HUMAN AND I MAKE MISTAKES. FACT CHECK IMPORTANT INFO!

Laptop: Lenovo Thinkpad T450. Desktop CPU: Ryzen 5 8500G, RAM:G.Skill Flare x5 32GB(2X 16GB), MoBo: ASUS PRIME B650M-A WIFI, Case: Inland X1, GPU: ASRock RX 6500 XT 8GB

the 6600 is about $200 and is a better card, but watch some videos of its performance in the games you want to play and compare it to the 6500 xt.

Newegg has the 6600 for 211 dollars, this is your best bet if you want a new card.  If not, buy a used GPU.

If not that, a 6650XT used would be a great 1080p card as well.
