Thank you 😊 🙏

For safety reasons make sure you can unplug the plugs ASAP or use a powerstrip/surge protector with a on/off switch just in case the pc makes electrical noises or leaks.

Rather safe than sorry since well we dont know anything about it and its odd how a top spec pc from 3 years ago ended up in great shape somewhere eithout ram.

Couldve gotten slightly better/cheaper ram but opted for those crucial sticks for 100% working out of the box compatibility

Please keep an eye on the liquid in the tubes, whether it starts moving or if they are any leaks.

Chances are someone sold it as broken because the cooling failed and they could not figure it out. So be ready to unplug the thing fast.

Feels like the only real reason and would check out with the ram being removed as thats the only super easy part to take out.

But yes op check if the liquid is moving. If it isnt after say 10 seconds turn it OFF and report back in.

I am afraid it could also be that there was a leak and that it caused some damage and no boot/screen. Would explain why someone would leave a 3080 in there and not try to sell it for more.

Then again, maybe it was a gift or bought used already and the seller had not clue how to handle the water cooling stuff to get it out.

Could have been but so far I have not seen a trace. Either way its a waiting game now and to take it step by step.

Currently I have 3 main things:

-Loop failed but not in a leaky way since theres still the expectes amount of fluid

-Pc was a repo or something and ended up trading hands a few times with nobody knowing what to do

-it "broke" or wasnt performant enough anymore and was ditched somewhere

Ive seen all of these happen personally and its also how my partner ended up with a full liquid cooled giga baller system from 4 years ago for a couple hundred
