At the moment I have a Asus 2070 turbo and I want to upgrade to a 9070 none XT, I see that they suggest a minimum of 650 watt power supply on AMD website and I have a 600 watt Corsair SF600

On PCpartpick my current build uses 456 watt and changing the GPU  to a 9070 would increase it to 491 watts, a 35 watt differences.

Do I really need to change power supply for that 50watts under minimum recommendation?

Thank you for any suggestions

No you do not need to change the power supply.

The SF600 is a decent unit and plenty enough for a 9070 non XT.

The 491w is basically your entire system at 100% load, this never happens during gaming for example.

And even if it did, you have 110w of power left 🙂 All good.

What CPU do you have? Just want to make sure 🙂

Oh then the SF600 is plenty of power 🙂  Its a great and reliable unit too.

You can install the 9070 and game away without any worries at all.

Enjoy! 👍

500w by PcPartPicker is pretty wild.  You will probably be around 400-450w full system power during heavy gaming.

But again, they are estimating absolute max power draw.
