Hey guys , I record gameplays with my Avermedia LGP(Recording Device) and I am buying a audio technica ath ad700 so which sound card should i buy xonar d2x or xonar stx and which is compatible with my LGP ? I want a sound card as my on board audio is crappy

 and has some disturbance !

Are you sure you need a sound card?

 

sure wish I knew what an LGP was so I could utilize my vast banks of knowledge to satisfy this query.

You would need none of the above from the look of things. Your "LGP" (acronyms, amirite) supports audio over HDMI, which I am assuming your graphics card has inbuilt sound as nearly all of them do now. Just plug your headphones into the LGP puck.

 

I love how the first reply to this thread was spot on, but nobody knew because WTF is a LGP?

Would a soundcard even work properly? You need to send the audio out to the LGP through HDMI, and your system might not let you have audio playing through both the soundcard and HDMI at the same time.

Does the audio out on the LGP support driving headphones? OP might need an amp to do it this way.
