So, I have a feeling that Vengeance is dead forever, and I've been doing some looking at prebuilts. I'm hoping to get it for my birthday (in November) or for Christmas. Anyways, this will be more than powerful enough, and I won't have to worry about the motherboard or PSU dying in less than a year. I hope to get my own custom-built rig at my dad's (this would be for at my grandma's).

It's okay for the price, But you will be able to get a build for less than that. Price out a custom build with similar specs on PCpartpicker

Also, your gif is in my dreams now...

Already have a similar one, even though it's just over double the price. And it does tend to do that, doesn't it?

Well it would be a hell of a lot better than vengeance I suppose.

I couldn't even start up Battlefield 3 since it only supports DX 9. :(

Are you sure you dont want to build a new rig?  You might be able to get something a bit more targeted towards gaming for the same price?  Yet if your parents are like my parents where if I ask them for parts for a new rig for my birthday they'll buy me a cpu and if I ask for a computer they'll buy me a computer, then I understand where you are coming from.

That rig will be better than Vengance but I still wouldn't say it could run bf3 at a decent frame rate.  You'd be able to do much more things on it though compared to the sempron in Vengeance.

Because for the same price you could build this: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/N2JjJx  Which has similar specs but much more gaming oriented.

This would just be a weekend rig, so it would be fine. And I chose one with an i5 for a reason. Video/3D horsepower. It takes FOREVER to render a video right now.

Awesome :)  You could always add a GTX 750ti if the power supply is sufficient anyways! :D

Meh. I'm so used to running on bare minimum settings, I think the HD 4600 will be more than enough. ;)

for the same price, you could probably build a better system with a dedicated GPU

I had to live without a computer for almost 2 weeks waiting for my macbook to sell and the parts to arrive.  I know what you mean :)
