So I have Patriot Viper 2x16 Gb DDR5 ram 6000Mhz CL36. Few months ago, one of the RAM stick stopped working and it costs as much as a new set to RMA it. Currently I have three options.

1. Buy another 16Gb with same speed and latency from a different brand.

2. Buy another 16Gb with 30CL and same speed, because it is more widely available.

3. Buy a 2x8 set with same speed and latency, its cheaper.

Which option is better and not cause any issues?

resell the existing dimm and buy a 2x16gb 6000c30 set and thats the true best option for matched ics and guaranteed compatibility with the added bonus of never having to upgrade given future cpus dont require in excess of ddr5 9000 or you dont need more than 32gb

Buy a new RAM kit to replace all the ram that you currently have. You do not want to mix and match RAM kits EVER!!!

I've never had troubles mixing ram kits, though I've only ever done it on DDR3 and 4

Well, on DDR5 it can cause some issues. I've mixed RAM kits before on DDR5, and it has some bad results.(note: this was on a motherboard that I used the stock cooler to cool the CPU, so i could have been getting some false results from the CPU overheating, but I don't think it was that due to the fact it was a Ryzen 5 7600)

Fair, but that could also easily just be the shakiness of DDR5 in general
