so i want to know if the following is possible

currently i have a central windows7 mashine that functions as a "semi backup" station at home

i want to instantly sync parts of the win7 mashine to an external usb3.0 drive

then when i go away to another place with my win8 laptop, i want to take my external drive with me, and read and write new files to the external drive

in the mean time someone else at home has to be able to read and write files to the win7 mashine at home

when i get home and plug the external hard drive into the win7 mashine, the win7 mashine needs the new/edited files of the external hard drive, and the external hdd needs the new/edited files of the win7 mashine

what are my (software) options please?

thanks in advance ;)

am i making things harder then they have to be? probably but i don't care that much :D

build log: diagonalmod (RIP?)

i know i use many of these: ( ) and these: ... (i really do... (sry...) ) edit: and edits
