Part Number

4ATS 1664HZ-2G6E1

This is my soldered ram of lenovo t495 Ryzen 5 pro 3500u

Can't see spd info for real speed as it is soldered or lock by bios

But check modle numbers can verify it is 2666mhz

I have two options

Crusial ram 2400 mt/s

Dual rank (CT16G4SFD824A)

Crusial ram 2666 mhz

 1.2v 2666Mhz CL19 SODIMM RAM

Which one will be good costly is same not much if a difference

And not much of a difference in performance either. Compatibility wise the 2666 should be better but dont quote me on that. OEM ram could be crapchute sometimes.

Get the 2666 so it matches the soldered memory.

If you install a 2400 DIMM, it's going to drag the soldered memory down to that speed. Ryzen needs all the RAM speed it can get.

But speed is limited to 2400mhz

Due to processor limitations

So any how it will reduce speed to 2400mhz

If 2400 is as fast as your processor can go, then either DIMM will work exactly the same.

I sold my soul for ProSupport.

Like which Will be best considering stability and performance

I heard we should match rams

But again if I match there is no use as it runs at 2400 eventually

But adding 2400 might do conflicts

As it is dual rank one also diffrence in CAS Latency
