RTX 3070 replacement.?

Currently have a 3070, and wanna get a team red GPU to replace it at a later stage.

Dont really have a set budget, but ideally less than £700. Ive been eyeing up several RX 7800xt cards for a while but wasnt sure if there was enough performance gap between a 3070 and a 7800xt?.....a 90 series card would be nice but just not possible at the moment, and would be way overkill i think.

I have WAY too much other stuff I need to pay for, im just looking into things at the moment.

What card should I aim for, 1440p ultrawide gaming, 144fps, Twitch and 4k video editing. Not at all important but white GPUs prefered to match with the rest of my PC.

Prices are stupid rn and 700 pounds was enough for a 7900gre or even 7900xt. Now the 9070 xt was available for that price before it got scalped and priced up by retailers. Just have some months patience as stock piles up and prices go down once more
