So here’s my dilemma I have that all hooked up but it’s shows a 16 pin on the back of the PSU but it didn’t come with a 16 pin to 8 pin cable, sorry this is my first build and for some reason it will run for a bit and even on idle the tower crashes so I was thinking that the GPU wasn’t getting enough power maybe 🤔

Gigabyte UD850GM should come with 4 8pin GPU connectors.

If the GPU you purchased has a 16 pin, yes, but you don't.

no that's not how it works, 16pin is just one of the GPU connectors, it's not "must use" thing
