did you buy it used or new, if your got it new I would try to get a refund

That doesn't look good at all.  Looks like its a small dent in one of the pads.

It might work perfectly fine but it might also cause major issues.

 

Get a refund and get a new CPU since this is a new one.

its a 7600. I looked up the am5 pin map and this one is VDD_MISC. dunno if thats an important pad

From what I see VDD_MISC might have something to do with voltage.

For such a new CPU I wouldn't accept anything but perfect looking pads. 
RMA and get a replacement.
