compare two cards (Please HELP!)

Hi guys i really can't decide what to buy, which card!.

1/ Gigabyte Radeon R9 270x WindForce3 2GB DDR5

2/ AMD Radeon R9 270 Sapphire Dual-X OC 2GB

 

Can anyone tell me which card is better for gaming

'g' DDR5 means it's going to be used for graphics. It is a fancy name, that's all.

DDR5 is a technology that allows multiple dual buses of data to connect with the same memory, meaning you have X10 the speed of a single dimm module.

nonononono. gddr =/= ddr + g. sorry, they are different memory standards, even though the nomenclature suggests that they are the same thing used in different fields.

They use the very same technology, the application changes, connectors and format change, but they are the same. You can get both DDR3 and DDR5 on gpus, yes I know.

Voltages, temperatures, and speeds can vary from the GDDR to the DDR specification, however the way the memory is made, and the way it works, it's the same.

The CONCEPT is the same, but you can't just say ddr5 as if it was the same thing. There is no such thing as ddr5 (yet), only Gddr5, hence why a distinction is made between gpus that use gddr5 and ddr3. Why not just call it gddr3? because that's not what it is.

read carefully and you'll see that ddr3 is actually more similar to gddr5 than it is to gddr3.
