Looking for new case

Hey there! I currently have my pc build, where the graphics card cables are out too long to fit inside the case with the glass panel on. As it was causing power issues. What case would people reccomend that is larger than my current one?

I would highly recommend the Fractal Torrent.

Its a very large case though. It does come with 2x180mm front fans and 3x140mm fans on the bottom.

Its very quiet and has excellent build quality.  its a top tier case.

Here are some pictures from my build with it.  I will mark in red so you can easily see how much space I have to the glass panel.

Looks very nice! I just have two questions to ask

1) how does the psu space look? my current build has a tiny space for a psu and im concerned its related to other issues im having
2)Which one did you get? (shown below)

1)  The PSU is at the top and the space for the PSU is actually pretty decent!  My Corsair RM1000x is actually 1cm / 10mm longer than your PSU and I have absolutely no problem with cables at all. 

2)  Picture number 2.  Fractal torrent RGB black with a light tint side panel

 

Here is a video from Hardware Canucks going over it.  Gamers Nexus has a VERY indepth look at this game. Its actually number 2 in the best case in terms of cooling and noise levels!  As well as best GPU cooling in terms of GPU noise levels too.

I think you will like it   I did A LOT of research before landing on this case and I absolutely love it.

I personally think it looks absolutely amazing. The fans are whisper quiet and move a lot of air.

Great dust filters and building in the case was very easy.

The fans can be a bit tricky, there are a lot of cables but they can be chained together so its not too bad.

It also comes with a fan hub if you want to use that.

Can i ask? You seem to have a pretty good knowledge of computers. Im currently experience graphical artifacts which i can temporarily solve by pushing in cables for the gpu + psu. The artifacts come back a few days later. What steps should i take to find the issue?

I'm currently trying to get in contact with the psu company to try and get some new cables, as i think that may be the issue, previously the gpu's cables being pressured against the glass (hence the new case) Which I belive may be the cause of this?

That is a good question and tough to diagnose without having the components in hand.

In my 23 years of building PC's I have never actually come across this problem.

 

It is possible that some connections are not making full contact and getting brand new cables might solve this.

If this is on the GPU end it could be the connections on the GPU itself.

If its a PSU problem, cables problem or GPU problem is impossible for me to say without further diagnosis.

Hmmm okay, is there anyway i could troubleshoot it myself? I am kindof at a point where I'm not sure where to go

Check the cables and connections on all components and look for anything abnormal. Be very thorough and maybe even use a magnifying glass if possible.

I am curious as to what Gigabyte will say to this matter.

Okay, may be difficult to answer but what kind of "abnormalities" would there be? I checked the cables a few week ago and couldnt see anything particularly abnormal.

On power it gets stuck. Something to do with cpu or ram since it’s experiencing some sort of failure or non detection of them due to the lights on the motherboard

Did you switch out any components when moving into the new case?

Added a new ssd and 2 more sticks of ram. Still with my old ssd and ram
