Low fps in Arma 3 multiplayer

When playing singleplayer with high settings, I get constant 60 fps, no issues, but when I play on certain servers in multiplayer with the exact same settings my fps drops down to 25-30. Is there a way to fix this, or do I need an upgrade? My specs are:

 

8gb ram

 

Asus DC2 gtx 660

 

4770k @ 3.5ghz
