Budget (including currency): ~$150 USD

Country: US

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Halo Infinite

Other details: I Have an acer predator orion prebuilt from a few years ago sporting an i7 12700F and an RTX 3060ti. I plan on building a new higher end PC later this year with a budget of about $2000 USD. In the meantime I'd like to give this PC a bit of a facelift for not too much money, since I plan to give it to my brother once I buy my new system. I already purchased a compatible tower cooler to help with CPU temps which have always run pretty high. the power supply is a 500w 80+ Gold OEM model. I was also looking at upgrading the GPU/CPU (mainly just the GPU) by selling it on ebay and purchasing a new one. I was considering an RX 7600 XT or a 6800 XT but I'd like to avoid buying a new PSU, but I would consider it for a good enough price to performance ratio. I'm interested in high refresh rate 1080p gaming since I usually play esports titles like Halo infinite. I'm just looking for some advice on what I should do. Thanks!
