1. i just looked up z97 on the pccasegear website and chose it 2. then looked at some reviews and thought it was pretty cool 3. Im bit of an asus fanboy :P

http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/wghWf7 Here this is roughly the same performance as what you linked, but $600 less. I will come back and tweak it tomorrow to make it better, but it's 2:54am for me atm and I have a 6 page paper due in a few hours.

Also if you don't mind me asking, why get a full tower for an ATX mobo? Will look kinda tiny.

They do look like badass still deciding whether or not to go with them. I do have the money to but do I really wanna spend the extra money idk.

i guess for a couple of small reasons.

1. lifetime warranty(yes lifetime as in 999months)

2. ability to change the LED's and thus the colour schedule.

Lifetime warranty is common for ram.
