1. i just looked up z97 on the pccasegear website and chose it 2. then looked at some reviews and thought it was pretty cool 3. Im bit of an asus fanboy

I left the peripherals razer and the monitor TN because preferences are preferences are preferences are preferences, for anybody wondering

i guess for a couple of small reasons.

1. lifetime warranty(yes lifetime as in 999months)

2. ability to change the LED's and thus the colour schedule.

Lifetime warranty is common for ram.
