Hello there,

I have an MSI Pulse 17 B13VGK that won't charge.

Even with the OEM battery, it won't start, mostly because the battery is at 0%. I found a temporary solution by removing the internal battery, which allows the laptop to boot.

I then got a new battery, but I'm facing the same problem: it won't charge. I checked with my multimeter to see if I have enough power from the power adapter (it's a 20V 12A), and I confirmed that I have both 20V and 12A.

I'm at a loss here and am considering whether changing the DC jack port might help.

The DC jack is probably fine as you can still boot when no battery is present. I suspect there is something wrong with the battery changing circuitry.
