My build:

https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/hTfzh7

Budget (including currency): $3000 CAD

Country: CANADA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for:

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

I don't use this desktop to play any 4k gaming at the moment, but I might in the future. In my list, I choose

Gigabyte X870 EAGLE WIFI7 ATX AM5 Motherboard, as my MOBO.

I wonder if that is a good idea to switch the MOBO to GIGABYTE X870 AORUS ELITE WIFI7 ICE AMD AM5

which means I need to spend 80 CAD extra.

The X870 EAGLE WIFI7 is plenty enough.  Why do you want to spend more for that other motherboard, does it have more features you want?

I run my own 9800X3D overclocked to 5.5ghz on a ASUS TUF B650 PLUS Wifi without any issues.

You don't have to overspend on a motherboard.

If the Aorus Elite has features you want that the Eagle doesn't and the feature is worth extra to you, then go for it. Only major one I can see is 2 extra type-A ports.

I'd run that build like this: Lower latency RAM w/low profile heatsinks so that you don't impede that dual tower cpu cooler, a case with far better airflow (3x140mm intake + 1x140mm exhaust).

This card is due for release on the 20th of this month.

Thanks for the list...

somehow I just feel the 7800x3d might be a better choice for CPU (for gaming maybe)

But the only problem is, I am not sure if I can get the 5070 GPU when it is released...

So I might just choose the 4070 S GPU maybe
