Bios update

Can someone help me, I'm having a hard time looking for a bios update for my gateway dx4300-11 computer

The bios version is v02.61

May I ask why you're trying to find a BIOS update for that system? Gateway is effectively dead at this point, so odds are their BIOS files are not going to be possible to find unless you get lucky with someone who already has one, plus prebuilt companies rarely distribute BIOS files to begin with. 

 

It's also a 16 year old system that was slow when it was released, it's not exactly something that's really worth saving if you're trying to upgrade it or something.

Bc i received a gateway computer for free and fixed it issues and wanted everything on it to be up to date but now that you said that is impossible to find a bios version I'm probably just going to give it away
