Do you need the computer right now, or do you just want a computer? If you need the PC for work/school etc., then getting one now to fit that need obviously makes sense.

If it is purely for gaming, then I would maybe look towards building one from used parts to save money. Or wait, save some more and also see what AMD brings to the table with their next release (should come soon?).

Not too versed in current low budget offerings, but it seems the 8700G is also pretty expensive. Might consider going AM4 or even older Intel, could potentially find good deals on used parts.

Much more info needed.

Budget, games you wish to play, resolution of said games, location of buying,...

^^^

And the apus usually dont make any sense to buy either since used rx 570/580 4gb are like 30-40$ with 8gb ~50$ and while the 8600g/8700g have pretty decent igpus at best theyll only be able to near the performance of those used gpus and thats with ddr5 8400-9000 which requires a b650m hdvor other 2dimmer to work not to mention a ram fan and quite abit of tweaking where the 570/580 is just drop in and install the drivers

8600g usually seems to be cheaper than the 7600 but then the 8400f exists (same thing but igpuless) and then theres aliexpress where you can get 7700 for the price of a 7600 or 85$ 8400f that render the 8600g worthless when an 8400f + rx 580 8gb will be cheaper than it and perform better, 8700g is a complete joke and only reserved for deskminis or other really small formfactor machines without a pcie x16 and even then theres mini pcs with oculink rendering that worthless aswell

Should I go with the AMD 8700G and no graphics card

If you are pinching pennies, a used Ryzen 5 5600G would probably be a better choice

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Man, I need coffee. Half the time I wasn't sure whether you were talking about AMD CPUs, older Intel ones, or some GPUs instead. Thanks intel/amd naming scheme developers.

8700G is a great choice if you're on a tight budget it comes with solid integrated graphics for now so you can game at lower settings or enjoy non gaming tasks. If you can wait and save for a dedicated GPU later, that’ll give you better performance in the long run.
