Sorry it was hard to explain but what I would like to do is have 2 pcs and from the click of a button switch both monitors to the other pc along with the perihperals

Oh, yeah, that KVM will do what you want. The only kinda weird part is audio; it depends on how you have speakers/headphones hooked up and if you'll be using a microphone for either PC.

Hello, I’ve recently have been wanting to invest into a kvm switch. I just have a few questions. What I’m looking to do is keep the same keyboard and mouse for both computers and I would like to at the click of a button switch the display to the other computer. My question is it possible to just have both monitors switch between computers? Also would this work fine https://a.co/d/7YTOese

You mean you want both displays to switch, but not always the keyboard mouse? You'd need a separate HDMI switch for that. When you press the button on a KVM, it switches KBM and displays always. You could have separate USB and HDMI switches, but that's kind of annoying.

Allegedly it supports just USB or just HDMI switching, but I don't know how that would work and it doesn't specify how to do it?

That KVM you linked should work for standard KVM duties; though the USB-A on the 'input' side of the KVM is a little weird. Usually those are Type B connections, but it doesn't really matter. No idea of that brand though, so not sure of overall quality. But that price is honestly quite surprising.

Oh yeah, just keep in mind you'll need a total of 6 HDMI cables now; two from monitors to KVM, two from PC 1 to KVM, two from PC 2 to KVM.

Ah okay that’s definitely something I had no idea about Thank You!
