Looks decent.

Cheaper RAM, GPU model unless specific reason to get other brand.

How much are you against AMD?:

https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/njjyt3

Could do 16 core AMD chip for approx 440pounds.

AIO if preferred or the case doesn't fit tall Air Coolers, could be bit cheaper. Thermalright Aqua Elite V3Deepcool LE520 (this one spins up to 2000RPM)

@Dedayog @PDifolco I wonder, because it's been a while since I tried doing Intel system,

would this sound decent?: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/4hMcGJ

Although I'm not sure if performance wise it wouldn't just get beaten by the 12 core AMD, or consistently get outperformed in efficiency, because on average it needs more power across apps, which means more heat to cool.

You got me, I haven't paid much attention to the new Intel chips. I'd have to spend some quality time with reviews on that Ultra.

I'd say 278 plus 189 = 467.  So how would an AMD CPU + mobo combo compare that that price point?

Bah the 245K Is just not very good, best value is the 265K (ex i7) as usual, but even then gaming performance is maybe on par with a 5800X3D...

If I were to buy Intel I'd rather go 14600K

AMD's faster single thread, at least based off of seeing how it's faster in Cinebench multi-core test with 2 less cores.

well, that's gaming, but you're not wrong about being beaten by 5800x3D, not sure why their single core performance is so bad, maybe it's the inexperience in efficiency?

Consider AMD, even though Intel's right there,

AMD has better single-core (and isn't really behind in multi-core either), which is pretty substantial for games, especially games like Tarkov that can really bring the hardware demand up.
