Mouse changing speeds randomly

As per the title.

 

Bought this mouse recently

Seems really good other than the fact that it keeps changing speeds from normal to slow! Could be days before it changes back, sometimes hours. Its fully charged and the issue exists whether its in wireless mode or connected via USB. Its very strange. I'm thinking its just faulty/

 

Any ideas?

Are you accidentally pressing the DPI button below the scroll wheel?

most likely your pressing the button under the scroll wheel which changes the dpi which means the sensitivity

So it would seem D'oh I never even noticed it.
