Budget (including currency): 2000ish

Country: U.S.

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: elden ring (light mods), lots of older games (2010-2020) playing around with mods,

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Currently using an alienware x15 R1 laptop, want to make the jump and build a full PC. Never built a pc but have some friends that can help watched lots of videos, was curious how this build would look and if there was anything I'm forgetting or tips, ideas, etc.

first glance, it is definitely a beautiful rig, second, if i was building it, i always prefer aircoolers to aio, and because fan noise usually doesnt bother me that much i would have bought some mining fans with pwm control for the air tower cooler, if the look of the case is not that important you could get moreout of this system by changing aio with a air cooler and spend more on gpu and a little less on cpu if it is only for gaming and use a second hand old pc case, it depends 100% on the use and your expectations

building a pc is like choosing a wife, you can build something ugly on the outside but beautiful inside, or you can have something beautiful from outside with no brain, if you be lucky you can build a pc with amazing look inside and out if you have the money, and if you have crappy luck with no money you can end up with an ugly slow pc, so it seems it all comes to what you worth for yourself to spend on what you want to spend time with, if you are confused dont worry i am confused too
