Coil whine

I have really annoying Coil Whine from my PC only when playing games.

 

I have swapped 4080 Super GPU 3x, Corsair 850w PSU 2x and MSI B650 motherboard 2x but the coil whine still persists.

 

Am I doing something wrong or is this seriously just a lottery?

Its just lottery.  Coilwhine from high end parts like a 4080 Super is to be expected at this point.

My 4080 Gaming X TRIO has coilwhine too.

 

Remember that coilwhine is not dangerous or harmful in any way, just annoying if its loud.

Do you ever just get used to it? I struggle cause I am very sensitive to certain noises.

Some people might. I dont.  This is definitely down to the individual.

 

I understand what you mean.

I have misophonia and hyperacusis and coil whine is a trigger.

Luckily my current 4080 is not too bad and I have noise canceling headphones that eliminates the sound completely.
