Clock limits on Afterburner

Go to solution Solved by Toxic Tom,

There is a hack let me see if I can find it...

EDIT: Ok here it is: http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=370201

What's you core clock limited at? Mine is limited at 549MHz, and my best guess i that very few people can reach that. But in case you have reached that limite, I guess you can't go any further.

If your core clock is less than this, it's probably a limitation of the graphics card itself.

But I'll await an answer,before I make a conclusion.

What brand GPU do you have? Afterburner limits your overclocking options on non-MSI brand cards.

Its an XFX HD6850

Stock core is 775 and the limit for afterburner is 875 at which the card will happily sit with not much of a voltage bump and Ok temps.

Yeah, sounds like MSI is limiting things because you have a non-MSI card. Try AMD OverDrive since you have an AMD GPU

The hack worked a treat :) thanks. yeah I would use it but I want the temperature-fanspeed graph that Afterburner allows you to set up
