Operating System & Version: WINDOWS 11 Pro

GPU Drivers: Adrenalin 25.1.1

Description of Original Problem:

I cant seem to figure out what's causing this. It only became apparent when I started using a 360hz monitor.

Its a very intermittent graphical error that happens quite sporadically the error only presents itself on the top of the monitor either across the entire top or half as seen in the photo.

I also get momentary black screens however its far more infrequent to the glitch issue

Troubleshooting:

Its not the cables I've tried 3 different DP cables

Tried updating bios

Its not the driver unless this bug has been constant for the last year

It might be something to do with newer API's? One of the main games I play has no issues in DX11 mode but has this issue in DX12 mode. (this might be a hint for anyone else that has had this issue. If you can think of other games that let you change API might help.)

I haven't tried a full windows reinstall from scratch but I did use the reinstall using windows update feature in Win 11

I have DDU'ed the drivers and tried several other ones. Currently using 25.1.1

Being that DX11 native titles seem to fix the issue I'm pretty sure its software level and not a failing GPU.

Could be an issue with DSC? I'm running the Alienware AW2725DF 1440p @ 360hz DP 1.4. I have tried a 2.1 cable.

If you have any ideas let me know I'm up to try whatever to fix this atp
